VON LUCKNER'S VISIT
SEETEUFEL IN PACIFIC EN ROUTE TO DOMINION Advice that Count Felix von Luckner, in his three-masted schooner Seeteufel, had reached the Pacific on his voyage from Hamburg was brought to Auckland by Captfiin R. Daniel, master of the North German Lloyd steamer Goslar, now at King's Wharf. The Seetuefel had called at Baltic Sea and American ports on her voyage and recently passed through the Panama Canal. It was probable, said Captain Daniel, that Count von Luckner would call at Pitcairn Island and continue through the Pacific Islands to Australia and New Zealand.
