Kisen Kaisha steamer Naniwa Maru sailed for Wellington shortly before five o'clock on Saturday evening. THE EMPIRE STAR The Blue Star Line motor-ship Empire Star, which is completing homeward loading at Queen's Wharf, will sail for London, via Cape Horn, on Thursday. THE SYDNEY MARU The Osaka Shosen Kaisha motor-ship Sydney Maru, which is at King's Wharf, will sail for Wellington this afternoon. MARIPOSA ON FRIDAY The Matson liner Mariposa is schednled to arrive at Suva from Los Angeles to-morrow, and is due here at seven o'clock on Friday morning, sailing for Sydney at 10 p.m. GOSLAR DUE TO-MORROW The North German Lloyd steamer Goslar is due at Auckland from New Orleans at noon to-morrow, and will berth at King's Wharf. After discharge she will go to Brisbane. THE RANGITANE The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rangitane will leave . Wellington this afternoon for Auckland, where she is due on Wednesday morning to complete discharge of general London cargo. I CITY OF GLASGOW The steamer City of Glasgow is expected here from Napier on Thursday morning to complete loading for New York, Boston and Montreal. She should be despatched finally

on Friday. THE NIAGARA The Canadian-Australasian liner Niagara, which left Auckland for Sydney on Wednesday afternoon, arrived there at seven o'clock on Saturday night. She will leave for Auckland on Thursday, and is due on September G, sailing the next day for Vancouver. THE WAIRUNA The Wairuna, which left Los Angeles oa August 6 for Auckland is due here at noon on Friday. She also has cargo for discharge at Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dun edin, and. will then go to Australia. WANGANELLA FOR WELLINGTON The Huddart-Parker liner Wanganella sailed for Wellington' from Sydney on Saturday afternoon and is due there on Wednesday morning. She will sail again for Sydney on Thursday. AWATEA FROM SYDNEY The Union Company's transtasman liner Awatea is due here from Sydney at noon today. but may be later as she has met heavy weather. She will berth at Queen's Wharf. She will sail on her return to Sydney at ten o'clock on Friday night. THE NORTHUMBERLAND The Federal Line steamer Northumberland, which is scheduled to leave Waikokopu tomorrow evening for Auckland, - should arrive here to complete homeward loading on Thursday morning. She will sail on September 11 for Southampton, London, Hull and Newcastle. THE AORANGI Tho Canadian-Australasian liner Aorangi arrived at Vancouver from Auckland at one o'clock on Friday morning, and will sail at ten o'clock on Wednesday morninsr for Victoria, Honolulu, Suva and Auckland. She is duo here on September 19, and will sail on September 20 for Sydney. HERTFORD FROM LIVERPOOL The Federal Line steamer Hertford will arrive at tho powder grounds from Liverpool at 1.15 p.m. to-day. Before moving to a city wharf she will discharge explosives which will be lightered by the ketch Miro and the lighter Rira.
