ATTITUDE OF THE BOARD RECONSIDERATION SOUGOT • Notice of motion for a meeting of the Auckland Education Board next Wednesday has been forwarded to the secre T tary of the Education Board, Mr. D. W. Dunlop, by a member, Mr. W. J. Campbell, to rescind the board's resolution prohibiting smoking by teachers in the precincts of a school.' The board had previously resolved to send a cir-» cular to headmasters, informing them that, owing to the danger of fire, no smoking would bo allowed within the grounds of a school.
