Simple Memorial to Miss Ellen Terry

The tiny Kentish village of Smnllhytho is not well known to the average playgoer. It is a beautiful place in itself, and it contains the Ellen Terry Memorial—the most successful of all memorials, because it is the simplest. In the village, on the edge of the Uyo marshes, stands tho beautiful Henry VII. farmhouse that was Ellen Terry's home for the last years of her life, and where she died; delightful gardens; and a big Kentish barn that has now been converted into a small theatre, where n memorial performance was recently given. The house is the homo of her daughter, Miss Edith Craig.
