Pat Paterson is to make a comedy in Paris as soon as she has finished work in Walter Wanger's "52nd Street." Charles Boyer will accompany her and supervise tiio production. Jgor Gorin, a baritone who has recently played in the Metro-Coldwyn-Maver production, "Broadway Melody of 1937," is to have the leading role in the same studio's "Ugly Duckling." As soon as he has finished work on his next picture, "A Damsel in Distress," Fred Astaire will go to England for three months' holiday. This will be the longest vacation he has had since he began film work. David Torrenee, actor-brother of the late Ernest Torrenee, star of the silent films, has been added to the cast of "Ebb Tide," the Robert Louis Stevenson adventure story which Paramount is filming in natural colour.
