The Song Tauber Wishes to Forget

LEHAR'S NEW OPERETTA Richard Tauber has achieved what he has jokingly described as his biggest ambition of the past few years—to make his audiences forget all about the song which brought him fame in England, "You Are My Heart's Delight." For years Tauber could not appear at any concert or in any theatre without audiences clamouring for the song, until the famous singer began to regret- the day that Franz -Lehar ever composed it for him. Now in the Lehar operetta, "Paganini," Tauber has scored such a success with another number that, for the first time, the public is allowing him to forget "Heart's Delight." The' successor is called "Girls Were Made to Love and Kiss," and it is composed in a manner which permits Tauber to reveal himself as a light comedian as well as a fine singer.
