INDUSTRIAL AMERICA
Twelve studies of large American corporations, such as General Motors, United States Steel and Standard Oil, are presented by Mr. Arthur Pound in "Industrial America." When the range of the subjects is considered, Mr. Pound's book is found most disappointing. He does not look far below the surface and seems more concerned to praise than to appraise. This sort of tiling has been done much better by other writers—in the magazine Fortune, for instance. "Industrial America." Its Way of Work and Thought, by Arthur Pound.
