STRANGE TALES
SIR ARTHUR QUILLER-COUCH Few readers need any introduction to Sir ArthurxQuiller-Couch, particularly as a writer of tho more subtle type of mystery stories in which the themes deal with the odd and the unseen rather than with the feats of Scotland Yard detectives. His short mystery stories have been put into one volume, which contains a number of tales of exceptional interest and appeal. Although tho supernatural is the basis of most of tho stories, tho majority aro not of tho "creepy" typo, but deal rather with something delicately lovely. Every story is a gem in itself and the book should provide an inexhaustible fund of entertainment. "Q'a Mystery Stories," by Sir Arthur Quillcr Couch. (Dent.)
