HAMILTON, Friday Strenuous efforts to havo tho Hamilton Borough Council's charges for electric power reduced had boon successful during tho year, and £3OOO had been saved for consumers, stated tho report presented at tho annual meeting of tho Frankton Citizens' Association last night. A further reduction of 10 per cent had beon obtained, con•tinued the report, while tho association's representations to tho council secured for Frankton many other benefits. Officers were elected as follows: Patron, Mr. 0. A. Barroll, M.P.; president, Mr. J,. S. Anchor; secretary and -treasurer, Mr. R. Kilham; committee, same as last year with pbwer to add.
