AMBULANCE DRIVERS
HOURS AT THE WHEEL EXEMPTION FROM REGULATIONS An application from the St. .John Ambulance Association for the exemption of its drivers from regulation 20 of tho Transport Licensing (Passenger Services) Regulations, 1936, which limits driving hours to five and a-half hours at a stretch, was granted by the No. 1 Transport Licensing Authority,' Mr. E. J. Phelan, at a sitting in Auckland yesterday. The exemption will remain in force until such time us an award dealing with ambulance drivers' hours conies into force.
