RANGITANE'S CARGO The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rangitane will clear Wellington on Monday afternoon for Auckland, where sue is due on Wednesday morning to complete discharge of general London > cargo. THE SYDNEY MARU From Kobe, via Sydney and Melbourne, the Osaka Shosen Kaisha motor-ship Sydney Maru arrived yesterday afternoon and berthed at King's Wharf. She will sail on Monday for Wellington. I THE EMPIRE STAR To complete homeward loading, the Blue Star Lino motor-ship Empire. Star arrived {rem Gisborne yesterday morning and berthed at Queen's Wharf. She will sail for London, via Cape Horn, on Thursday.

AWATEA ON MONDAY The Union Company's transtasman liner Awatea sailed from Sydney for Auckland at 5.50 yesterday afternoon. She will arrive on Monday morning and berth at Queens Wharf. THE NORTHUMBERLAND Expected to leave Waikokopu on Tuesday for Auckland, the Federal Line steamer Northumberland should arrive for final loading on Thursday morning. She will sail on September 11 for Southampton, London, Hull and Newcastle. CITY OF GLASGOW The steamer City of Glasgow is expected to leave Napier on Tuesday for Auckland, arriving on Thursday morning to complete loading for New York, Boston and Montreal. The City of Glabgow should be despatched finally on Friday.

MOTOR-SHIP MATUA With passengers and general Island cargo, the Union Company's motor-ship Matua arrived yesterday morning from the Cook Islands and berthed at Prince's Wharf. She sailed late last night. for Wellington with nine passengers. The Matua will undergo survey and overhaul at Wellington, and will leave Auckland for Rarotonga oa September 13. HERTFORD FROM LIVERPOOL Arriving at the powder grounds from Liverpool on Monday afternoon, the Federal Line steamer Hertford will discharge explosives before moving to a city wharf. IJie explosives will bo lightered by the ketch Miro and the lighter Rira, which will sail from Western Wharf before the steamer's arrival. The Hertford should begin discharge of general cargo on Wednesday morning. REMUERA'S PROGRAMME The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Rcniuera, due at Wellington from London on September 25, will complete discharge lit New Plymouth and Auckland, arrmng here on October S.
