HEAVY OUTWARD TRAINS In contrast to conditions during the May holidays, when many parents kept their children at home on account of the prevalence of infantile paralysis, l.*irge numbers of children have been travelling by rail with their parents since tlu> commencement of the school holidays last Friday. Women passengers and children were in tho minority on th<? limited express from Wellington yesterday morning, practically tho whole of ono sleeper being occupied by women and children. Tho outward express for Wellington last evening also wuh very well patronised, and with tho Now Plymouth section, comprised a total of ]f> units when it 'eft Auckland. Eleven o ferriages were required to cater for Main Trunk passengers alono.
