SHERIDAN PLAYERS
At the last club evening of the Sheridan Players an entertaining play reading had been arranged by Miss Iwa Pearson, St. John Irvine's comedy "Anthony and Anna," being presented. Taking part were Mr. L. Ryan, Mr. E. Sutherland, Miss Lenore Pigott, Mr. Philip Jay, Miss M. Spooner, Mr H. Newcombe, Mr. J. Spooner and Mr. N. Dyer. During the intervals, songs were given by Miss Winfred Clements, who was accompanied by Miss McKinnon. A presentation was made by Mr. Newcombe, on behalf of the members, to the society's secretary, Miss Arawa Heron, who is shortly to be married.
