Mrs. E. Dudley, Ferryhill Road, Epsom, is spending three weeks at Piha. Mrs. Frank Gould, of Te Kuiti, is visiting her mother, Mrs. Reginald Foster, Christcliurcli. Mrs. C. Verreckor, of London, and Mrs. M. I. Cattell, of Ckristchurch, are at the Grand Hotel. Mrs. Fred Buddie, Princes Court, Princes Street, will leave by motor-car this morning for Rotorua. Mrs. J. E. Page, Ronaki Street, Mission Bay, will leave by motor-car tomorrow morning for Taupo. Staying nt tlio Central Hotel are Mrs. J. M. Lamb, of Christcliurcli, and Mrs. E. Mawslev, of Marton. Glendining, lioslyn Avenue, Remuera. Miss Joan McGregor, of the Ramabai Mukti Mission, Poona, India, is the guest of tho Rev. J. and Mrs. Ings. Mrs. J. P. May, Arney Road, Remuera, left, yesterday for Cambridge, where she will bo the guest of Mrs. Seton Otway. Mrs. Scott Wilson, St. Stephen's Avenue, Parnell, has returned from a visit to Wellington, where, she was the guest of Mrs. Whatley. At the Station Hotel are Mrs. C. Thomas, of Ruawai, Mrs. F. J. White, of Te Awamutu, Mrs. F. Mackay, Te Kauwhata, and Miss V. Mackay, New Plymouth. __ Mrs.. R. Newcomb, of Te Kaiamo, Ngongotaha, accompanied by Miss Marie Dannaeford, of Rotorua, returned home yesterday after spending a fortnight at the Esplanade Hotel, Devonport. . Mrs. G. H. Stephenson, of New Plymouth, who has been spending some months touring England and the Continent, arrived in Auckland yesterday. She will spend a week with her sister, Mrs. L. T. Symes, of St. Stephen's Avenue, Parnell. The Higher Thought social club held its fortnightly gathering this week, the guests being received by Mr. and Mrs. Charles Dickens. After games and competitions had been held, dancing took place and Miss Farquhar entertained with several items. Music was supplied by the Temple orchestra. Supper was served by the hostesses, Sirs. Green and Mrs. Deverick.
