TEACHERS SMOKING
Sir, —If those teachers who arc now denied what to them is tho "soothing influence" of smoking during the intervals from duty in school hours tried reading a bracing story or an uplifting poem or, even better still, one of David's inspiring psalms, i.e., 90th or 103 rd, they would find therein a greater balm than ever was received from pipe or cigarette smoking.
