THEFT OF BOOTS
Charged with stealing a pair of boots, valued at 15s'6d, from Donald McLeod at Auckland on Tuesday, a labourer, Colin Jamieson McDuff, aged 60, pleaded guilty before Mr. W. R." McKean, S.M., in the Police Court yesterday and was fined £l, in.defauLt 10 days' imprisonment. He was also fined 10s, in default 24 hours' imprisonment, for drlmkenness pn the same day.
