DEATHS ON SAME DAY
TWO RESIDENTS OF WAIPU DOUBLE FUNERAL HELD Two well-known residents of Waipu, both of whom were born in the district, died recently on the same' day, and had a double funeral. They were Mrs. Adelaide Matilda McLean, and Mrs. Catherine McGregor. Born at Waipu on May 26, ISBO. Mrs. McLean was the youngest daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. N. J. Campbell. She was married in 1901 to the Into Mr. J. V. McLean, and is survived by three sons and three daughters. Mrs. McGregor was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. D. McKay, and was born at AVaipti in 1861. She was married in 1897 to the late Mr. John N. McGregor, whose death occurred 13 years ago. She is survived by a son and a daughter. The double funeral was attended by a large number of relatives and friends. The service was conducted by the Rev. J. D. N. McFarlane,
