RIGHT OF WAY BLOCKED

SERVICE CAR DRIVER FINED [FROM OUR OWN CORRKSPONDKN'T] HAMILTON, Monday A charge of blocking a right of way was preferred against a scrvice-car driver, Selwyn Matthews, in tlie Hamilton Police Court to-day. Inspector W. E. Nicholson said that when the owner of the business premises next to the right-of-way asked him to move, defendant told him to wait. He kept the business man waiting for 10 minutes. In imposing a fine of £2 10s, the magistrate, Mr. S. L. Paterson, said £1 was for defendant's impertinence. £1 for his lack of consideration, and 10s for the breach of the by-laws.
