MAUNGANUI DELAYED
As a result of rain •delaying cargo operations, the departure of the Union Steam Ship Company's liner Maunganui for Sydney last night was fixed for eleven o'clock instead of ten o'clock as originally scheduled. Rain came on again soon after ten o'clock, but good progress was made with the loading of the final cargo and the hatches were oil bv eleven o'clock. The wharf cranes were moved out of the way. and the ship finally left Central Wharf at 11.40, clearing the port ten minutes later.
