SIR ALEXANDER WILSON FORMER GOVERNOR OF JERSEY (Received July S, 5.5 p.m.) " LONDON, July 7 The death has occurred of MajorGeneral Sir Alexander Wilson, formerly Lieutenant-Governor of Jersey. Sir Alexander Wilson, who was knighted (K.C.8.) in 1916, was born in October, 1858. He served in the Z ilu War in 1879 and in the South African War, when he was awarded the C'.B After serving in the Great War, he retired in 1920. He was LieutenantGovernor of Jersey in 1916-20.
