MARRIAGE 26 YEARS AGO MAE WEST REVEALS SECRET (Received July 8, 5.5 p.m.) LOS ANGELES, July 7 The film actress Miss Mae West, who for many years denied that she- had ever been married, admitted to-day that Frank Wallace, a vaudeville performer, became her husband 26 years ago. The admission was made as the result of a suit brought by Wallace to compel her to admit the relationship and to divide her property, which he alleged exceeds 100,000 dollars. " The actress denied that she had lived vrith Wallace and alleged that he subsequently married again without being divorced from her.
