WRESTLING
MATCH TO-MORROW EVENING McCREADY AND RUMBERG Auckland wrestling enthusiasts will bo pleased at the selection of Hal Romberg as Earl McCready's first opponent upon his return. When , Rumberg takes tlio ring against McCready to-morrow night at His Majesty's Theatre, ho, should extend the Empire champion fully. R umbers was a good wrestler when ho first visited the Dominion in 1033, and is now greatly improved. The standard this season is higher than in that year, but Romberg has acquitted himself well against the best opponents, and has invariably pleased with the outstanding quality of his displays. His perfect physical fitness has enabled him to wrestle vigorously in all his bouts. Rumberg and McCready are two of the biggest wrestlers in New Zealand at present, but, wi spite of their size, they are both fast and clever matmen, with a wide rango of holds, and the match should prove an attractive, well-varied exhibition. McCready is in the Dominion for a short stay only and the opportunities of seeing this fine wrestling exponent in action will bo few. Tho amateur preliminary bouts will bo selected from the following:—W. Wallace (right), Ost 121b; R. Frcake (Lynndale), list 131b; E. Pinches (Lynndale), Ost 81b; C. Hammond (Lynndale), fist; P.
