SHEEP SHOW SUCCESSES
NEW ZEALANDER IN SYDNEY With a mixed Hook of 23 Southdown sheep and two purebred Hydatid rams, Mr. A. Elworthy, a well-known farmer of Timaru, had considerable success at the recent Sydney sheep show and sale. He returned to Wellington by the Wanganella this week.'His Southdowns wore highly praised by the judges, who awarded them the best average in the show. The Hyeland rams were given second place and commendation in their class. The former line was bred b,v Mr. Henry Andrews, Malieno, Oamaru, and the latter by Mr. Elworthy.
