BIG RUGBY SCOEE SPRINGBOKS WIN AGAIN MATCH AGAINST TOOWOOMBA By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright (Received July 7, 7.50 p.m.) BRISBANE, July 7 The Springboks defeated Toowoomba to-day by GO points to nil. There was an attendance of 4000 and the gate takings amounted to £3OO. The teams were :

Bester, Lochner. Halfbacks.—Van de Vyver, Craven, Forwards. —Nel, "Boy" Louw, Martin, Van Rcenan, Sheriff, Van den Berg, Jennings, Bergh. TOOWOOMBA Fullback. —Garthe. Threequarters. —C. Mcibusch, Hayes, East, B. McDonald. Five-eighths. —Mclntyre. Halfback. —Mcibusch. Forwards. Bermingham, Green, Gallagher, Browne, Lavers, Newman, Lee, J. McDonald. Scorers for the Springboks were: — Lvstor (3), Van Reenan (2), Bergh, Van de Vyver, Van den Berg, Bester, Lochner, Jennings, Craven. Brand converted nine tries and kicked two penalty goals. The Springboks are improving with every match. They showed greater resource in backing up than in previous matches.
The Springboks were not impressive early, but immediately Lochner went to centre and Bester to the wing play livened up. v Craven could not be kept quiet, while Van Reenan was the star forward. An interesting player lor Toowoomba was Lee, who played for the W airarapa Union against the Springboks in 1921. Sheriff, tho Springboks forward, retired with a muscle wrench, but the injury is not serious.
