VETERAN STAGE FIGURE
DEATH AT AGE OF 91 LONDON, July 6 Death has come to Mrs. Elizabeth O'Shea, aged 91. She gave Charlie Chaplin his first chance by lending him 60s for a dress suit to join a Fred Karno show. Mrs. O'Shea was mother-in-law to Stanley Lupino and grandmother to Ida Lupino. She launched all her 10 children on the stage successfully.
