NEW SOUTH WALES UNIONS AUTHORITY TO CALL STRIKE (Received July 7, 5.5 p.m.) SYDNEY. July 7 Combined meetings of the northern miners' lodges yesterday gave the leaders of their campaign for higher wages, shorter hours and other improved conditions, full and unconditional authority to call a strike of all
the colleries in New South W ales in the event of a refusal by the proprietors to concede satisfactory terms on the log of claims recently served by the Miners' Federation.
