That ihe,success achieved by North Island branches of the New Zealand Racing Owners, Breeders and Trainers' Association fully warranted the extension of the movement to the South Island to complete a Dominion-wide organisation was the keynote of a conference of owners, breeders and trainers, representative of all parts of New Zealand, held to-day. Dr. E. H B. Milsom, president of the Auckland provincial council, was eiected chairman and the enthusiastic meeting unanimously decided to establish a New Zealand association, with Mr. C. E. Craiy as organising secretary. Delegates ' from various provinces spoke eulogistic-ally of the work done since the inception of the organisation a little over a year ago and stressed the. fact that the success attained was duo to a constructive policy which aimed at assisting the New Zealand Racing Conference and racing clubs generally. It was decided to make the annual subscription £1 for owners and breeders and . 10s for licensed trainers, each province to retain its identity with a percentage, to be Jixed by the executive, to form a capitation fee for the New Zealand bod v.
