BUTTER AND CHEESE
GRADING POINTS PRIZES weddEl and hardley cups Advice has been received by the Auckland Agricultural and Pastoral Association from the Government dairy produce grader, Mr. T. Henry, that the Weddel Cup, for the highest average points for butter graded at Auckland for the 11 months ended June 30 has been awarded to the Rodney Co-operative Dairy Company, Warkwortli (manager, Mr. P. S. Halligan), ' with 94.684 points. The Northern Wairoa Co-operative Dairy Company, Kirikopuni (manager, Mr. J. Booth), was second, with 94.390 points, and the Ruawai Dairy Company, Ruawai (manager, Mr. F. K. Hames), was third, with 94.328 points. This is tho second year in succession that the Weddel Cup has been won by the Rodney Company.
The Hardley Cup, for the highest avcrago points for cheese graded at Auckland in the 11 months ended Juno 30 was awarded to the Waimnna Cooperative Dairy Company, Waimana (manager, Mr. T. Barr), with 92.594 points. Second place went to tho Bruntwood Dairy Company, Bruntwood (manager Mr. I. Peebles), with 92.551 points, whilo Opouriao Dairy Compnny, Tancatua (manager, Mr. J. Adams), was third, with 92.097 points. The Bruntwood Company won tho cup last year.
