McCREADY'BEATS SPELLMAN

By gaining a fall in the sixth round with a clump and body press Earl McCready beat Jack Spellman in a professional- wrestling bout, which went the full distance. It was a hard match, with very little showmanship, but McCrendv had a great advantage in weight and reach. The final rounds were fast and furious, with Spelliiian holding McCreadv in a very painful forward toehold for five minutes. Twice in the last round he had ail Indian deathlock, but could not develop it to the full extent. KIRILENKO BEATS STEIN DECISION GIVEN ON POINTS [jJV TELKCHAPII Pit ESS ASSOCIATION] PAI/MERSTON. NORTH, Wednesday In a wrestling contest to-nighi Matros Kirilenko beat Sammy Stein 011 pomts, after each had secured a fall. Stein took the first fall in the sixth round after a series of flying tackles, and Kirilenko equalised in the seventh round after a jolt which flattened Stein on the canvas.
