WANGANUI WOOL SALE
CRUTCH INGS DOWN 1D TO I£D TOP PRICE REALISED 14* D [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WANGANUI. Wednesday There was a decline in the prices of crutehings at the Wanganui winter wool sale to-day, values being 2d to 2.U1 down on those ruling at the April sale, and Id to ljd down on the sale at Wellington yesterday. A small quantity of fleece wool and oddments was included in the catalogue, but was not sufficient on which to base reliable quotations.
Good erutchings realised from 13id to 14id, average lines from 12d to 13d, seedy lOd to lid, and very seedy and inferior, 9d to lOd. There was a representative bench of buyers, but competition was erratic, and at times lifeless, although for good lines of erutchings bidding was animated.
