HIGH STANDARD DISPLAYED (James under the control of (lie Auckland American Basketball Association attracted a fair attendance at the Y.M.C.A. last evening. Although the draw found the weakest teams opposed h.v (lie strongest and some high scores were registered, the play was of a high standard. The keenest match was between Watts' Sports Depot and the Y.M.C.A. flockey, and it was only in the final quarter that superior passing by Watts enabled it to win by a fair margin. .
