GOLF CLUB BALL

WHANGAREI FUNCTION The large number of golfers who attended the Whangarei (Jolt' ('lull's hall ill the Town Hall last week were greatly impressed with the realistic miniature of the cluh's links at .Mount Don by which was arranged below the stage. The names of the holes and apt variations of well-known golf terms were placarded round the walls. Supper was served on the stage. The committee comprised:—Mrs. J. Donaldson, president, wearing black ring velvet; Mrs. F. J. Parkes, black georgette; Mrs. H. \Y. Corniack, old gold crepe; Mrs. Hollo Gray, blue and silver deque; Mrs. K. A.
