AUCTIONEERS' NOTE. —These cattle wero all bred on the property by the vendor from original Taranaki stock. The herd has been milked on Mr Stewart's property at Waimai and have done well with him there. There has never at any time been any kind of disease in his cattle which will come forward in good condition, the cows calving in August and September. The heifers, which are i'/i-ycar-olds, will calve in July. August and September, the majority being due in August. Mr. Stewart does not run the bull with his heifers as yearlings. These cows and heifers, coming from high sheep country, will do exceptionally well in the Waikato. On account of MR. L. C.
