LAST TRIBUTES PAID

CANON T. FIELDEN-TAYLOR [by TELEGRArH —PRESS ASSOCIATION'] WELLINGTON, Monday All sections of the community joined to-day in paying a last tribute to the late Canon T. Fielden-Taylor. Wellington city missioner, whose death occurred on Saturday. A large gathering attended the funeral service in the mission chapel and many hundreds who could not gain admission waited outside. The cortege was a long one. The service at the mission chapel was conducted by the Rev. H. S. I. Kennoy, vicar of Petone, assisted by the Rev. E. McLevie, vicar of Roseneath, and the Rev. W. Southward, o! Christchurch. Nearly all the clergy of the city and suburbs attended. At the Karori cemetery the Anglican service was conducted by Mr. Kennov and a Druids' service by Mr. Ma whim toy. Sea Scouts formed ® guard of honour.
