DERELICT HULL

THE WHANANAKI DISCOVERY BOAT NOT YET IDENTIFIED [bt telegraph—ow>- correspondent] YTHAXGAEEI, Mond?.y An inspection of the derelict hul! which came ashore at Whananaki Inlet during last week's gale has been made by Mr. A. D. Walker, of Whangarei, son of the late Mr. E. Walker, of Waitangi, who disappeared without trace about eight years ago in his launch, the Speedwell. Mr. Walker states that he is convinced the hull is not that of Speedwell, but is more likely that of a larger boat. However, he knows of no boat of that kind which has disappeared without trace during recent years.
