MANUREWA TO HOLD POLL Further steps with th» proposal to raise the status of th» Manurewa town district to that of a borough were decided upon last flight by the Manurewa Town Board. A petition in favour of the proposal was pr«* sented to the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Hon. W. E. Parry, son 1 .? months ago.. In a letter to the board last night the Minister advised that no objections had been lodged and the board was authorised to hold a poll on the posal.
