RECOMMENDATION TO MERCY J j* [bt telegraph—own correspondkxt] HAMILTON, Friday A strong recommendation to mercy was made by the jury when returning a verdict of guilty in the Hamilton Supreme Court to-day in the case in which Leslie Francis Otto Mansfield (Mr. lloe) was charged with indecently assaulting a girl of 13 at Rotorua. Mr. Justice Fair approved of tfie recommendation and admitted accused to probation for three years. He was also prohibited.
