PRESENTATION
The presentation of a barometer wfis made to Mr. G. E. Buckland, of Hamilton, who recently retired from tho position of newsroom foreman of the Waikato Times after 21 years' service. A leather bag was also presented to Mrs. Buckland. A tribute was paid to Mr. Budkland's service by the managing-director, Mr. A. L. Manning.
