ROTORUA DISTRICT AREAS QUESTION OF ALLOTMENT [BY TELEGRAPH —OWN correspondent] ROTORUA. Monday The Lands Department is giving consideration to the allotment of farming areas in the Rotorua district developed by the Government and now being worked on a share-milking basis, according to advice received during the week-end by Mr. A. F. Moncur, if.P., from the Minister of Lands, the Hon. F. Langstone. The Minister, in a telegram to Mr. Moncur, stated that it was anticipated tho department would shortly be able to advise the share-milkers of the terms and conditions under which the farms would be allocated to them and that negotiations would then be opened for the allotments.
