ST. PETER'S CHURCH

A CORONATION SOCIAL A successful Coronation social evening was held by the members of the St. Peter's, Takapuna, Social Club, in the parish hall on Friday. Appropriate decorations featuring red, white and blue streamers and Hags were carried out in the hall by the honorary secretary, Miss Marjorie Brett. The guests were received by the vicar, the Rev. R. Hill Johnson, and Mrs. Hill Johnson. Singing, dancing and amusing competitions made a very enjoyable evening's entertainment. Supper was served by the ladies of the parish.
