MUSIC LOVERS' CLUB

The rooms of the Overseas League were well filled on Thursday evening, when an excellent programme, mostly from the works of the British composers, was presented under the direction of the president, Mr. \V alter lmpett. interpretations were of a high standard throughout. Assisting with the programme were: .Miss Lois Shortland (pianoforte solos); Mr. Fred Blenkarn, Miss Lorna Johnson, Mr. Edgar M. Bishop. Mr. Alfred Porter, Miss Eileen Yeoman, Mr. btanlev Moorcroft, Mrs. Norman Dmiery (songs); Mrs. B. Neal, Mrs H. Kersey. Mr S. Duncan and -Mr. J. Bond (vocal quartettes). The accompanists were Miss Ella Postles and Mr. M alter lmpett. and a violin obbligato was plavtnr by Mr. Norman Dimery.
