EDUCATION CONFERENCE
ENROLMENT OF MEMBERS 3500 APPLICATIONS TO DATE Although the original date for the enrolment of those wishing to attend the sessions of the New Education Fellowship Conference to be held at various centres in New Zealand in July has passed, it has been decided to receive registrations up to May 25. Numerous applications are still being received, the total to date being 3500. In a statement issued on Saturday by the National Committee it was stated that apparently there had been some misunderstanding in certain areas regarding the closing date for enrolments. Lt was felt that no teacher could afford to miss the opportunity of meeting the eminent educationists who would take part in the conference, and as it was desired to do everything possible to assist teachers to attend, it had been decided to extend the closing date.
