RETENTION PERMITTED Official advice from the Department of Internal Affairs that the tame kiwi at the Hawke's Bay Acclimatisation Society's farm at Green meadows would bo permitted to remain was received at a meeting of the society in Napier. "I hope that will he the end of it," said one member, who evidently voiced the opinion of the meeting.
