NORTH SHORE CROQUET
BRIDGE EVENING HELD SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION A successful bridge party organised by the social committee of the North Shore Croquet Club was held last night in the Devonport bowling pavilion. Twenty tables were engaged in either progressive or stationary bridge. Gaily coloured flags attractively decorated the hall. The players were received by the president, Mrs. T. M. Macdonald. The social, committee comprised: Mrs. L. Cooper, Mrs. V. Brooks, Mrs. J. O'Brien, Mrs. M. Howard, Mrs. F. P. Flinn, Mrs. A. L. Griffith, Mrs. G. S. Ardley, Mrs. W. Newbegin, Mrs. W. Cotes and Mrs. A. Bartley. Among those present were: —The Mayoress. Mrs. H. F. W. Meikle, Mrs. A. E. Alison, Mrs. J. Gray, Mrs. A. E. Clyde, Mrs. T. Gooding, Mrs. G. Spence, Mrs. J. N. Waddell, Mrs. W. V.
