RICCARTON JUMPERS STREAMLINE PERFORMS WELL GIGGLESWICK ALSO PLEASES [by telegraph—own correspondent] CHRISTCHURCH, Monday Some interesting schooling was performed at Riccarton to-day. Streamline jumped four of the steeplechase fences well. Grey Boy then joined him and the pair completed a round, after which Streamline was pulled up. Grey Boy continued, but crashed at the sodwall, his rider, R» Smith, sustaining a broken collarbone, which was injured in his fall off Monastic on Saturday. Flashlight negotiated eight fences at a strong pace and without any errors. Royal Limond had Arctic Star as a mate over four hurdles. They went at a fast pace and Arctic Star was in front at the end. Giggleswick and Niglitbound were sent out for a round of the hurdles. Niglitbound misjudged the first and crashed, his rider, E. Rosewarne, sustaining facial injuries. Giggleswick carried on alone and gave a very pleasing display. When ridden later by his trainer, D. O'Connor, Niglitbound jumped four hurdles safely. Miracle, who races in the name of Mr. D. E. Wanklyn, is held in partnership between Mr. Wanklyn and Mr. A. T. Donnelly. A younger brother to Miracle, also in J. Tomkinson's stable, will also be raced by the partnership.
