BROADBENT'S FLIGHT
WIRELESS SIGNALS CEASE SHIPS ASKED FOR NEWS (Received April 30, 12.15 a.m.) RANGOON, April 29 Concern is felt for the safety of Mr. H. F. Broadbent on his flight from Australia to England. No -wireless signals have been received from him since 7.30 a.m. and ships have been asked to keep a look-out for him. The airman reached Penang last night and left there early this morning for Karachi. AIRWOMAN DELAYED MRS. BONNEY AT BANGKOK SINGAPORE, April 28 Mrs. H. Bonney, the Australian airwoman who is attempting to make the first flight from Australia to South Africa, is held up at Bangkok owing to bad weather.
