MINING DISASTER
CASE HEARD IN WALES 31 OF SUMMONSES DISMISSED '/Received April 27, 5.5 p.m.) LONDON. April 26 The magistrates at Wrexham, Wales, to-day dismissed 31 of the summonses arising out of the mine disaster of September, 1934, at Gresford, a near by town, when 2(35 lives were lost. The hearing opened on April 21. The summonses relate to alleged disregard of the safety regulations by shot fivers at Gresford. It was held by the magistrates that the evidence did. not prove the accused guilty of non-compliance with the law the time of the accident. Ten summonses remain against the company.
