TWO PROFESSIONAL BOUTS CONTEST FOR MONDAY NEXT The return boxing bout between the rival welter-weights Bill Pluto and Billy Martin, scheduled for the Town Hall next Monday, has been arranged in response to widespread public interest. The decision at their first meeting aroused such controversy that it was felt that a return match would provide the most satisfactory and conclusive answer to all parties. The contest should be of a particularly high standard, since both fighters are confident that they can show greatly improved form, and with this object in view they are undergoing particularly keen and strenuous training programmes. Both Pluto and Martin impressed spectators during the weekend with their perfect physical condition and it is more than usually difficult to forecast the result of the match, which is certain to be highly spectacular. . * On the same programme is a contest of ten three-minute rounds between the heavy-weights Dennis and Jack Rainsford. Navy and Air Force. His manager, Vernon Hogg, is confident that Lindesav can go the distance and predicts a bright future for the ex-amateur champion. The double-feature programme is of outstanding merit and seems bound to attract a larsie enthusiastic crowd.
