VICTORIAN FARM LANDS
DEMAND With profitable prices ruling for primary products, there is a much better demand for farm lands in Victoria, and a good number are changing hands at satisfactory prices. It is several years since farmers have handled so much money. Finance for country purchases is easier to obtain than it has been for several years, but many lenders are insisting on inclusion in mortgages of certificates of exemption from relief under Debt Adjustments Acts.
