QUEEN CARNIVAL
Interest in the Taliuna Queen Carnival to raise funds for the tennis and croquet club is being well maintained. Last week the flag of the blue queen, Miss J. Haycock, has been on top for the first fciino, with the pink queen, Miss B. Colson, second, and the green queen, Miss P. Luxton, third. The blue queen's funds benefited from a garden party hold at the croquet club's grounds and the tennis club's courts. A flag 500 evening in aid of the green queen was heid in the Tatuanui hall.
